No, mio DIO , io non desidero maggior godimento della mia fede, della mia speranza, della mia carità, solo per poter dire sinceramente , quantunque senza gusto e senza sentimento, che dovrei piuttosto morire che abbandonare queste virtù (LdP, 71).
